Activities and Features
Other Destination Dix activities and features include: a Ferris wheel, tethered hot air balloon rides, kids crafts and inflatables, a vision wall, lawn games and a Touch-a-Truck area. There will also be shade areas to escape the summer sun.

Get to know the park better by following our signs introducing you to its place in Raleigh's history and some of its wild edible plants. Look for the signs along the Rocky Branch Trail between Hunt Dr. and S. Saunders St. #WildHistory
Destination Dix has partnered up with Crank Arm Brewing. The downtown brewery will host a special Cask in honor of Dorothea Dix Park all day July 23rd.
The Cask will be Chocolate Raspberry Bike Lane (Belgian Stout). Head to Crank Arm after the Dix Party for this special barrel. Rickshaws will be present and charging per ride to the Big Field. They accept cash and card. Prices are determined per ride, day of.
